Marina Grande is Scilla’s main beach, on the Costa Viola.

Ruffo Castle stands on the headland separating this shore from the Chianalea district.

The two areas are close together but are not the same geographical entity.

From the beach, the castle is seen from below, offering a different perspective from the upper town.

A day at Marina Grande can continue with a walk through Scilla’s streets.

Allow for changes in elevation when planning the route between beach and viewpoints.
